![]() {Go ahead an have a spoonful of peanut butter as a snack while you prepare this sauce...!} I love to serve peanut sauce over stir fried vegetables or chicken and brown rice. Often, I do it when I'm in the mood for Thai food because while I enjoy eating at Thai restaurants, I always wish the peanut sauces found there were peanuttier...so I wrote this recipe and major satisfaction followed. I realize when I serve this, it means the dish is not authentically Thai (and Thai food is really good), but I can't help it. The peanuttiness is too irresistible. Plus, it's just fun to recreate restaurant favorites from home with little twists that make them your own. Enjoy! (Remember, big "T"=Tablespoon and little "t"=teaspoon...it will make all the difference in a recipe like this.) Nourished! Peanut Sauce 3 T natural, no sugar added peanut butter 1 T soy sauce 1 T honey 1 t rice wine vinegar 1-2 t chili sauce (depending on desired heat) 1 t toasted sesame seeds Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk thoroughly, until well-combined. Enjoy a single Tablespoon-sized serving over the protein and vegetables of your choosing!
