Last September, I wrote a mini-series on immunity that I think is asking to be revisited. This is the time of year when colds and flus begin to rear their ugly heads and threaten to throw us off our groove for an entire week or two! No one has time for that. I categorized these two posts into long and short term immunity boosting practices.

Since writing these posts, the practice I've noticed most helpful whenever I'm personally fighting illness is REST. Beginning to catch a cold can bring me a lot of anxiety (not to mention self-blame ("How could I have let this happen?"), but in reality, worrying about the fact that sickness has occurred will do nothing to aid the body in recovering. So if you're feeling under the weather this weekend, accept the fact that your body is limited, take the steps in these posts that make sense to you, and then drink up and rest. Your body will do it's thing!
